RESEARCH ASSISTANT  MATERIALS DEVELOPER
Multimedia On-line Environment (MOE) Project, School of Computing and
Management Sciences, Sheffield Hallam University

We seek a motivated individual to work as a key member of a team developing
comprehensive web-based on-line information and support services for the
Cultural and Multimedia industrial sectors in the Yorkshire and Humber region. 
Your post will be to develop high quality material for the MO website and to
maintain contact with and interpret external client briefs.

Media Online (MO) is a collaboration between the School of Computing and
Management Sciences, School of Cultural Studies, Fretwell Downing Education and
DJ Associates.

You should have a degree in a topic relevant to design, multimedia, IT,
Business or the creative industries together with experience of working with
multimedia within a creative, technical or business environment, including
client contact and information gathering. You will have used some software
packages used for multimedia production and have good understanding of current
restraints on multimedia production and should exhibit evidence of continued
learning to keep pace with technology.

A highly motivated and creative individual, you will have good communication
and presentation skills and the ability to contribute creative ideas to promote
electronic services in the market place. A flexible approach to working hours
and the ability to work under pressure within a creative team environment is
essential.

This is a full-time post, however we will respond positively to applications if
you are looking for flexible/part-time working opportunities or secondment.
