[Cms-moe-list] Technical support for MO

I am very pleased to report that following the Steering meeting on Tuesday, we
now have technical support for our server.

Eliot Perrins from Fretwell-Downing has taken charge of the server as of now.

He will be configuring the server and putting back-up/security systems in place
over the coming period. he will then go on to provide support for the proposed
streaming services. Colin Pons suggested at the Steering meeting that MO could
support delivery of National Film Council film 'shorts'. We will be following
this up in the near future.

When the new desktop machine arrives for C310 at Psalter Lane, this will be
regarded as the development machine, which will also provide us with an
'off-site copy'.

Once this system is in place we will operate a policy of doing development on
the machine at Psalter Lane and FTPing content to the central server at Harmer,
according to our 'sign-off' procedures.

I will arrange for Eliot to be added to the cms-moe-list and will introduce him
to people next week.

Thanks to David Kay for putting this forward, and thanks to Jonathan and Eliot
for responding so quickly. Thanks also to Iain Hughes for getting the server
installed and holding the fort so well over the last few weeks.
