To confirm the arrangements for the MO presentation at the 1st. Thursday event
at the NCPM, 5 April 6-7 pm.

MO will be presented along with other presentations by Andy Curtis from the
SIMULA project and John Tolman from the Media-Tech Secretariat.

Our intention is to make a presentation centred around an off-line demo of the
MO site facilities, using a laptop and projector.

We would like to be able to set up during the afternoon of the 5th.

We also wish to distribute postcards publicising the MO URL and to register
attendees for adding to the MO mailing list.

Can you please confirm if a projector is available, or if we need to bring our
own.

MO  Media Online will provide a rich and relevant set of online resources and 
information gateway to support the multimedia, publishing and cultural
industries within the Yorkshire and Humber region.

Amongst the services offered by MO are:

A Virtual Employment Register containing interactive portfolios posted by
those working in multimedia, publishing and cultural industries in the region.

An up to date searchable business register which will allow service providers
to register and showcase their wares and users to quickly find providers of
services, skills and technologies in the multimedia, publishing and cultural
industries.

An environment where providers of relevant and high quality online training
materials can reach a wider market of learners and where potential learners can
identify relevant training resources.

A network that encourages information and business relationships through
participation in online discussion forums for the sector.

News and information resources  targetted directly at the multimedia,
publishing and cultural industries in the region.
