SERVING CREATIVE PROFESSIONALS IN THE DIGITAL AGE
6.00PM - 8.30PM
THURSDAY the 3rd of MAY
THE NATIONAL CENTRE FOR POPULAR MUSIC
First Thursday, the networking forum for the people in the CIQ and cultural
and creative industries, goes all high tech this month. The evening begins
with drinks and short presentations from Media Tech, Simula and MOE.
Afterwards there will be food and more drinks, a chance to catch up with
the presenters and pick their brains, plus the ever useful opportunity to
have a natter with people in related industries.
You'll also get to hear about a new Digital Convergence Conference for
South Yorkshire which is being held in Sheffield this June.
Taking us into the Digital Age will be John Tolman telling us about Media
Tech, a project which supports and assists companies with their multimedia
and e-business problems. Andy Curtis introduces SIMULA which is aimed at
the Interactive Entertainment, IT and Multimedia sectors (to name a few)
and we'll learn about MOE (Media Online Environment
(www.media-tech.org.uk)), from Bob Steele, which provides invaluable online
information and resources to support the local multimedia, publishing and
cultural industries.
If you'd like to come along please contact Jane at the CIQ Agency on 0114
249 0992, fax 0114 249 8886, or email jane@ciq.org.uk.
Don't forget we are always happy to display information or to make
announcements on your behalf, just let us know if you need anything.
See you Thursday!!
