 In response to Pete's request concerning when you will get feedback on the first assignment....

You will receive a feedback sheet with a provisional mark as soon as I have had time to mark them all. I've already started with the first
submissions. After I've completed a sample, they are internally moderated by a second marker (just to make sure I'm being fair!). Then our
admin team will try to get them back to you as soon as possible. But please try to be patient - it is quite a process!

The mark is provisional at this stage, because a sample of all work is seen by our External Examiners during the Subject and Award
Examination Board process each semester (next completed around February time I believe). However, we have a good record of keeping our
External Examiner very happy, so unless I get things completely wrong, your provisional mark is usually about right (I just can't guarantee
it)!!

If you do fail an assignment, you will be given an opportunity to retake the assignment at least once. However, we do have to wait for the
formal boards to confirm that this is the position. So don't be surprised if you don't get that clear instruction until after the Exam
Boards (not that I am expecting anyone to fail.....).

Hello Introducing my self again its Pete Atkinson (Ped) I am a Rights of
Way Implementation Officer with Shropshire County Council and have
worked
for the Rights of Way dept for nearly 5 years and have thoroughly
enjoyed
it. It is good to hand in the first assignment, struggled to balance
work
committments and studying but managed it. It is starting to settle down
now. I found it difficult starting to study after 5 years away from any
education and motivating myself after a hard days work especially with
the
amount of work I have to do. Is any one else struggling to juggle the
two
or is it just me? Let me know if you have found any ways around it. Well
Good Luck with the next Assignment and does anyone know when we get
feedback for the first? Is it emailed or posted?
