Hullo everyone - thought the following might be of interest....
Some of you have produced some really excellent work again this term, and I asked one successful student how they managed to do this -
particularly the depth of research in some excellent academic journals. Her reply might be helpful...
Most of my research is done online using the DL support. The access to electronic journals, catalogues and databases such as Ingenta or
Catchword are excellent, although it can take some time to wade through everything that comes up! I also use my local library, but this is
often very out of date.
I appreciate that you don't all have the time to get to grips with all the available literature - but I'm glad that the system works for
this who need it. You can access the online information databases from the SHU Learning Centre's main web page (http://opac.shu.ac.uk/
<http://opac.shu.ac.uk/> ).
