Let me get this straight. You actually have a server where your library patrons actually save their work to the server hard-drive. Is that what you are telling us? How do you manage this? I would think the server hard-drive would become full within a matter of days with everyone out there saving their stuff to the
hard-drive. Do you have some sort of maintenance program to remove the old files?

We have a about 600 Pc's scattered around for student access, all apps (except IE) are maintained remotely on network servers and run from there. Each user has a drive h:\ as a home directory ( mapped to a server ). We encourage

Instead we encourage use of H: and explorer to copy files to A: for backup purposes. The same story applies to Zip disks that we have fitted to these

Netscape is trying to save, apparently, to that file and is blocked. The error is harmless, but like any error message, is unnerving to users.
