Hello !

We are in the process of migrating our CD-ROM databases to an AXIS
StorPoint CD E100 network CD/DVD server and are having some problems with
MacSPIRS in this environment.  I have already contacted SilverPlatter's
technical support, but they have not heard of such problems.  Maybe,
though, some list members would have encountered the same thing and solved
it...

This is the case of CD-ROMs cached on the StorPoint server and shared on
our Microsoft network.  We have no problem using this configuration with
WinSPIRS.  However, we are not able to have databases working with MacSPIRS
(4).  Mac (AFP) network protocol is enabled on this server.  We are able to
mount the disks (they are visible on the Mac's desktop), but MacSPIRS do
not recognize them.  We have some other products for the Macintosh which
work fine in that environment.

If ever you have found a work around for such problems, we would be glad to
here from you...
