Sorry I can't be of much help to you here, excepting to point you
towards the aging CDROMLAN FAQ at:

  http://www.lib.uaa.alaska.edu/cdromlanfaq/

and the only Axis or StorPoint reference is the vendor page:

  http://www.lib.uaa.alaska.edu/cdromlanfaq/faq03.html#Axis

Are you familiar with the CD-ROM-NETWORKING@JISCMAIL.AC.UK list?
Their archives can be found at:

  http://www.jiscmail.ac.uk/lists/cd-rom-networking.html

Please let us here on the list know what happens. . . - g^2

BTW, though we've moved entirely away from networked CD-ROMs to
either web-based or standalone solutions, we still have our
rugged NetWare 4.11 server running SCSI Express to serve up OS,
program and utility CD-ROMs for my department's use.
