Hello again everyone!
You should have just received a message welcoming you to this email discussion site. I have added everyone who has just started the M.Sc. in
PROW and Access Management to the site. Don't worry about the password, etc.etc., - it will be me managing the site. However, you can each
use the site to contact the whole group, share experiences or anxieties, or whatever!
Remember that if you send an email to prow2@shu.ac.uk it will end up on the whole group's email. Make sure specific, confidential comments
or problems or draft assignments (in particular) are sent to the appropriate individual - otherwise the whole world will know (well - just
your group of fellow students).
On this first occasion, it might be nice just to introduce ourselves again. I'm Lynn Crowe and I will be your main tutor for both the
Marketing unit and the Principles unit. I hope I met most of you at the induction school. You should be completing your first marketing
assignments around about now. Do remember you can send a draft assignment direct to me if you wish (l.crowe@shu.ac.uk).
My background is pretty diverse. My academic background is actually in ecological management, but I've always worked in countryside access
and interpretation - for local authorities in the main. I've also worked for the local branch of the CPRE and the Countryside Commission.
I've been a Member of the Peak District National Park Authority for the last six years, and am therefore pretty active in the new CROW
proposals for open access at present.
How about you??
Regards
Lynn
