Don't know about everyone else but I feel quite relieved to have posted my first assignment.

It was tougher than I thought. The subject is not difficult but marshalling all the bits of info into 1500 words was hard and the referencing kept interrupting my train of thought.

To reintroduce myself to everyone I work for the Environment Agency on its ground breaking scheme the Jubilee River, a flood alleviation scheme from Maidenhead to Windsor in Berkshire. (Sorry but can't get out of the habit of promoting it at every opportunity)

I am a town planner and had worked in development control for years before children. When kids were little I wanted to do something to have a break and did A level law at evening class then got hooked so did a law degree part time in the evening - twice a week for 4 years travelling in to Ealing west London -nightmare journeys on the M4.
Can't think what made me start this course
but it is nice not to have to leave the house.

Does anyone have any experience of 'public Art' on path networks?
Any good examples anywhere particularly of ones in rural or riverside settings?
I had thought of a living willow sculpture but I remeber reading about a giant willow man that got burned down somewhere
I have been asked about it to go on the Jubilee River and wondered what's happening in the rest of England.

Cheers
Jane
